Also called Drance hemorrhage, Splinter hemorrhage, nerve fiber layer hemorrhage.
Linear hemorrhages perpendicular to the optic disc.
On the superotemporal or inferotemporal margin of the disc.
MANAGEMENT:
Observation of a disc hemorrhage should prompt a thorough investigation for glaucoma.
IOP lowering therapy if required.
