Signs of Keratoconus you shouldn't miss!
1) Munson's sign is a V-shaped indentation or bulge of the lower eyelid that appears when a patient looks downward
2) Vogt's striae are fine, whitish, parallel stress lines in the deep corneal stroma and Descemet's membrane
3) Fleischer ring is a yellowish to dark-brown pigmented ring in the peripheral cornea caused by iron (hemosiderin) deposits
4) Corneal bulge occurs due to progressive thinning allowing the tissue to stretch and bulge forward and causing a deep AC
5) Acute corneal hydrops is when there is a sudden break in the Descemet's membrane allowing fluid to enter the corneal stroma, causing rapid edema and vision loss
