Video: Incidental finding of Asteroid Hyalosis

Benign, usually asymptomatic condition characterized by numerous tiny, yellowish-white, calcium-lipid particles suspended in the vitreous humor, easily visualized during a slit-lamp exam

Under high magnification, these "asteroid bodies" appear to glitter or sparkle, moving within the vitreous gel but not settling downwards, distinguishing them from other vitreous opacities
