Features of NVI

Features of NVI when compared to normal iris vessels!

1) Iris vessels are present in stroma. New vessels are superficial.

2) Iris vessels are radially arranged. New vessels are irregularly arranged.

3) Size of iris vessels are uniform. New vessels are of varying sizes.

4) New vessels are leaky on doing fluorescein angiography/ fluorophotometry
